On the outskirts of the city, a community of trans prostitutes has built a home under the matriarchy of Tía Encarna, where tenderness defies the violence of everyday life. When an abandoned baby enters their lives, that fragile sanctuary is changed forever. Narrated by Camila from a present where memory reshapes the past, Las Malas is a fantastical journey into a world where nature, desire, and imagination blur the boundaries between the real and the impossible.

Feature film inspired by the novel by Camila Sosa Villada, winner of the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and Grand Prix de l’Héroïne awards. Drama, social fable.

Directed by Armando Bo.
